Mukti was established in 1986, with the mission of providing all amputees free artificial limbs, free calipers to polio victims, rehabilitating the physically challenged, and providing awareness to the public about those who are physically challenged. Mukti carries out this mission through its various limb camps, both in India and in other countries around the world. In addition to limb camps, Mukti offers medical camps, mobility aids, and social empowerment camps. We currently have one amputee assistance project with Mukti.
