Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital
Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital (SDMH) is a private hospital founded by the late Khailshanker Durlabjhi. SDMH hospital was borne with the purpose of providing quality healthcare to all people and was established in 1971 as the first private hospital in Rajasthan, with just 80 beds and 6 specialties. SDMH has now grown to become a tertiary care center with 500+ beds and various specialties. SDMH houses the Dr. P.K. Sethi Rehabilitation and Jaipur Limb Training Centre, created by Dr. Sethi in 1985. Dr. Sethi was an orthopedic surgeon and was awarded the Magsaysay Award for designing and developing the Jaipur Foot. We currently have an amputee assistance project at this site.
Jiv Daya's support for an amputee assistance project began in 2013, with local champion Dr. Anil Jain. We support one data manager at this site.
