Although a newer school to Dallas ISD, Larry G. Smith Elementary (PK-5) has already established their academic and extracurricular programs. Students have ample opportunity to get involved in activities such as Music Memory, Dancing Classrooms, soccer, track, and guitar club. The school prides itself on the success of all students and has been distinguished as a Model Campus for Assisted Daily Living Classroom.
Smith will become a part of the student -reader initiative Fall 2016 along with the rest of the Bryan Adams Feeder Pattern schools.
The Smith mascot is the Cavaliers, and their school colors are red and black.
