The Sarojini Naidu Medical College is a specialized tertiary healthcare center center established in 1854, during the reign of the British Empire. In 1939, Agra Medical School was upgraded to Agra Medical College and later in 1947, Agra Medical College was renamed as Sarojini Naidu Medical College, in honor of the first lady Governess of Uttar Pradesh. It is currently affiliated with the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University and has been recognized by the Medical Council of India. Sarojini Naidu Medical College is attached to Saroji Naidu Hospital, which sees over 35,000 inpatients annually and has a bed strength of 974. We currently have one maternal health project at this site.

We began support for the maternal health project at Sarojini Naidu Medical College in June 2014, with support from local champion, Dr. Saroj Singh. Dr. Urvashi Verma now serves as the local champion. We currently support three nurses and one counselor at this site.
