The Government Spine Institute, located on the Civil Hospital Ahmedabad campus, is one of the largest hospitals performing spinal cord surgeries and related procedures in India. The Government Spine Institute treats patients from all across northern and western India, as it is equipped with state of the art facilities and technological equipment to provide patients with quality prosthetics and artificial appliances. We currently have one amputee assistance project at this site.

JDF began support for the amputee assistance project at the Government Spine Institute in 2013. Our local champion is Dhiren Joshi and we currently support two prosthetists and orthotists and one social worker cum data manager at this site.
