One of the goals of Jiv Daya Foundation is to improve data collection, patient tracking to prevent loss to follow-up and to increase overall survival outcomes. To help meet this goal, we have created the India Pediatric Oncology Database (IPOD).
The India Pediatric Oncology Database (IPOD) was created to be a free data collection and analysis tool for grant sites to use in India. This database empowers hospitals to store and collectively analyze patient data (patient demographics, abandonment rates, treatment information, etc.). Each institution has an individual account for entering data. The data is the property of the individual institution. The IndiaPOD also provides the ability to draw reports for evaluation of issues and trends in disease history and treatment. Please visit www.indiapod.org to learn more. If you are interested in becoming an IndiaPOD site, please contact Sarah Oswald at shoswald@jivdayafound.org
