Candidate should have a MSW degree/ Social Science with 1 to 2 years of experience of working in community-based projects.
• Should be well versed with the local language and local demography
• Willingness to travel to the interior villages of the respective states.
• Any earlier experience of working in the area of Education and   Livelihood will be an added advantage

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

·         Site Visits for on the ground coordination and assessment

·         More than 50% of your time will be spent making visits to rural villages to coordinate project activities and directly communicating with the beneficiaries to assess the impact of JDF grants.

·         Visit plan in your the region will be made based on discussion with your direct manager

·         3 days per week anticipated travel.

·         Identifying appropriate NGOs for JDF to work with and expand JDF reach

·         Identify the need of families in rural areas and offer solutions to mitigate the issues related to livelihood, children’s health and education as well as malnutrition

Monitor Utilization of items donated by JDF

·         Be present during the distribution of various livelihood and mobility items donated by JDF via partner NGOs

·         Interview each family in details and collect required information about their socioeconomic status and how JDF donation will help them

·         Make follow up visits to villages and homes of JDF beneficiaries

·         Collect proper utilization reports of JDF grants from partner NGOs

Reporting

·         Write site visit the report being shared with the entire JDF team after each site visit both local and out of station

·         Should include details of interactions during the visit, along with pictures and case summaries

·         Make weekly summary of progress made with each NGO

Daily Task List (End Of Day EOD)- At the end of each non-site visit day, a brief email report should be sent to teamindia@jivdayafound.org detailing which phone calls you made and what other work you did
