We are providing support for the Research project “Pharmacokinetic and Toxicity profile of High Dose Methotrexate: Relationship with Serum Creatinine and MTHFR Polymorphisms in Indian Children.” This is especially relevant to India wherein MTX levels are not routinely available. Run by Dr. Sameer Bakhshi, he has been been managing high dose MTX  in his patients without always having MTX levels and using creatinine as an indicator for MTX clearance. They are working to validate that and if validated could have an impact on usage of MTX in high doses in India wherein levels are not routinely available.
