Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) is a service oriented, non-political, socio-cultural, voluntary organization that was established in 1963. With a broad mission, BVP works in various facets of society to improve the quality of life of people in India. One of their major focus areas is helping the physically handicapped under the Viklang Sahayata Yojana program. BVP established its first Viklang Centre in  Delhi in 1990, which was followed by 13 more Viklang Sahayata Kendras across India. These centres provide artificial limbs free of cost to all patients. In addition to these centres, BVP also hosts mobile workshops that manufacture limbs and provide them at Viklang camps organized by the various BVP branches. Through their efforts, BVP was able to provide artificial aids and appliances to 13,000+ people in 2014-2015. Jiv Daya supports BVP branches in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Ludhiana.
