Site Overview
Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children was founded by Cusrow and Ness Wadia in memory of their mother, and is a charitable organization overseen by the Wadia Group. The hospital is staffed by some of the best physicians in Mumbai, almost all of whom serve in an honorary capacity.

Project Overview
The collaboration between Jiv Daya Foundation and Wadia Hospital is targeted at building up their Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology in partnership with CanKids...KidsCan. The partnership includes salary support for two medical fellows, two oncology nurses, a social worker, and a data manager. In addition, full implementation of CanKids support services, including financial, emotional, and psychosocial support for patients and families. The Foundation’s hope is that through this support, BJ Wadia Hospital will grow into a Pediatric Cancer Unit of exceptional quality with an expanded capacity to treat every patient effectively.
