Project Overview
The Jiv Daya Foundation and St. John’s Medical College collaboration began in March 2011. The MOU was executed during our first annual India Palliative Care Initiative (IPCI) meeting at AIIMS in New Delhi. In addition to the existing staff of three doctors and one nurse, Jiv Daya Foundation has agreed to fund the salaries of one doctor, one social worker, and one data manager. Through the Foundation’s assistance, St. John’s hopes to open an exclusive outpatient ward for Pain and Palliative Care.
