Puja Amin joined Jiv Daya Foundation in May 2010. She attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, and received her B.S. in Anthropology with a minor in Creative Writing. Following graduation, she worked as a Milieu Therapist at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Puja has spent extensive time traveling in India and is fluent in both Gujrati and Hindi.

Kristin came to Jiv Daya Foundation in May 2010, following her graduation from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in International and Area Studies. She has traveled to China and Italy, where she spent a semester studying Italian history and culture in Florence. She is looking forward to spending time getting to know the Foundation’s present and future grant recipients and friends.

Allison Howard, Senior Grants Coordinator

Allison Elkins began as an intern with the Foundation in October of 2010. In December, she graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Art in International Politics and Diplomacy and joined the team full-time. She developed a passion for helping others globally through her travels in China and her semester abroad in Sevilla, Spain. She is excited to work towards impacting the lives of people all over the world and to continue building relationships with the Foundation staff in India.

Hollie Hongosh, Senior Grants Coordinator

Hollie began with the Jiv Daya team in April 2011. She attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, and graduated with a degree in International Diplomacy and French. She is especially interested in Francophone studies and has done field research on non-profits and NGOs in Cameroon, West Africa. Hollie most recently completed a one-year teaching contract with the French government in Martinique. She is passionate about non-profit work and looks forward to helping facilitate meaningful projects for JDF's grantees in India.

Abhijit Roy, Consulting Project Officer

Abhijit Roy is the Foundation’s first India-based staff member. He joined the team as a consultant in September 2011 and is based out of Delhi. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Assam University and is currently pursuing his post-graduate degree in Business Administration. He has previously worked in both cancer care and social welfare charities in India, and is excited to be returning to the world of pediatric cancer care.
