Site Overview
The Rotary Bangalore Peenya club was founded in 1983 by 24 charter members. Club membership has more than doubled since 1983, and members actively pursue the club’s goal of “building communities and bridging continents.” The club has several projects, including their Jaipur Foot Camp held each January.
Project Overview
For over fifteen years, the Bangalore Peenya club has held an annual mega limb camp for 6-8 days each year. This camp provides aids and appliances to over 2000 beneficiaries, and each patient is captured on a database formulated especially for the project. Jiv Daya Foundation is providing funding for this camp and is planning to work with the club to computerize camps at other centers.
